His latest project, Invite Only, perfectly captures that vision.
Completed over the course of a year, the album also includes songs dating back to 2021—records QUEL intentionally held onto because they didn’t fit the direction of his earlier releases. Rather than forcing them into the wrong project, he patiently waited for the right creative moment.
That moment arrived in 2024 after writing “VYBZ” alongside Hollywood Luck.
The collaboration became the foundation for the album’s identity, inspiring a sound that merges nostalgia with contemporary energy.
“I wanted Invite Only to feel nostalgic while still sounding fresh,” QUEL says. “I envisioned it as a house party where every room has a different story to tell.”
That vision comes alive throughout the project, featuring a carefully curated lineup of artists from his hometown. Each collaborator brings their own personality and perspective, creating an album that celebrates community, creativity, and the culture that continues to inspire QUEL’s work.
