Give Them Their Flowers While You Can Still See Them Bloom

We live in a world that moves fast—too fast sometimes. So fast that we often forget to pause and acknowledge the people who are showing up, doing the work, and pushing through life’s storms in real time.

So many times, flowers are given too late.

We celebrate people after they’ve burned out.

We honor them once they’re gone.

We applaud their impact when they can no longer hear it.

But what about now?

Giving someone their flowers while they’re still here isn’t about grand gestures or viral posts. It’s about intentional recognition. A phone call. A message. A public thank-you. A simple “I see you.”

You never know what someone is carrying silently.

That strong friend? Carrying exhaustion.

That business owner? Fighting doubt.

That creator? One bad day away from quitting.

Your words could be the reason they keep going.

And let’s be honest—flowers don’t cost pride, but withholding them does. Celebrating others doesn’t take away from your shine. It reflects it. When you acknowledge greatness in others, you show confidence in yourself.

Today, let this be your reminder:

• Speak life into someone.

• Support people while they’re building, not just when they’ve “made it.”

• Celebrate progress, not just perfection.

Because legacy isn’t just about what you leave behind—it’s about how you treat people while you’re still here to impact them.

Give them their flowers.

Loudly.

Genuinely.

Now.
