Healing With Purpose: The Multifaceted Impact of Jasmine Hayes-Taylor

Jasmine Hayes-Taylor is a dedicated Mental Health Therapist whose work is deeply rooted in compassion, resilience, and purpose. With more than 14 years of experience, Jasmine has provided counseling services to individuals across diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and individuals within correctional populations. Her professional journey spans a wide range of settings, including community mental health, short-term inpatient treatment, extensive outpatient services (MYPAC), residential facilities, and prison systems—each experience further shaping her holistic approach to healing.

Jasmine earned her Bachelor of Arts in Community Health Science and Family Studies with a concentration in Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2012, followed by a Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology from the University of West Alabama in 2015. While completing her graduate studies, she was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society in recognition of her academic excellence. Committed to lifelong learning, she continued her education at Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi, and later pursued doctoral studies in Healthcare Administration.

Throughout her career, Jasmine has served in various professional roles, including Community Support Specialist, Behavioral Specialist, Qualified Behavioral Health Professional, and Mental Health Therapist. Her clinical expertise covers a broad spectrum of areas such as depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders, ADHD, PTSD, autism, intellectual developmental disorders, domestic violence and abuse, sexual trauma, suicidal and self-harm behaviors, parenting challenges, anger and stress management, and issues impacting the LGBTQIA+ community.

In addition to her clinical credentials, Jasmine holds multiple certifications that reflect her commitment to whole-person wellness. She is a Certified Mental Health Therapist, Mental Health First Aid Instructor, Mental Health Life Coach, Certified Pre-Screening Psychological Evaluator, Certified Professional Relationship Counselor, Certified Personal Fitness Instructor, and CPR certified. She is also a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, initiated in Spring 2016 through the Rho Iota Zeta Graduate Chapter in Mendenhall, Mississippi. In May 2025, Jasmine expanded her calling even further when she became an ordained minister—an extension of her lifelong mission to guide, heal, and serve others spiritually as well as emotionally.

Jasmine’s passion for helping others began early in life. Although she did not initially know how she would fulfill this calling, she always knew she was meant to serve. Her own lived experiences with trauma became a powerful motivator, shaping her belief that “you grow through whatever you go through.” This philosophy fuels her unwavering dedication to healing, self-care, and empowerment—both for herself and those she serves.

Her commitment to wellness also extends into physical health and fitness. Jasmine’s fitness journey began in 2013, with 268 pounds being her heaviest. The loss of her mother at the young age of 37, coupled with a family history of cancer, heart disease, and diabetes, became the driving force behind her decision to pursue a healthier lifestyle. That journey ultimately led her to personal training and the official launch of JT3 Fitness LLC in October 2023, where she also offers meal prep services to support sustainable wellness.

A lifelong cook since the age of nine, Jasmine credits her grandmother as her greatest inspiration in the kitchen. In November 2022, she officially launched Tailored 2 U Catering and Bartending LLC, providing services that include catering, mobile bartending, weddings, and special events. In June 2020, she further expanded her impact with Life Lessons with Jasmine LLC, a mental health life coaching platform designed to complement her extensive background as a mental health professional.

Trauma-driven yet hope-focused, nearly everything Jasmine does is centered on being the person she once needed—while helping others become their best, healthiest selves. Beyond her professional endeavors, she is a proud mother to two daughters, Jalei and Jaysie. She is also a former semi-professional women’s tackle football player, a dedicated marathon runner, and a medal-chaser who thrives on pushing her limits.

As a content creator, Jasmine continues to inspire and educate through social media, using her platforms to promote mental health awareness, wellness, fitness, and personal growth. Through every role she holds—therapist, minister, coach, entrepreneur, athlete, and mother—Jasmine Hayes-Taylor embodies purpose, resilience, and the transformative power of healing.
