Hailing from Houston, Texas, Tylarik has built a name for himself both on the field and in the studio. Influenced early in life by his older brothers, Walter and Leslie Kimble, Tylarik was taught to pursue his dreams with relentless determination. This mindset propelled him into a successful athletic career, where he signed not one but three professional football contracts.
While sports shaped his discipline, it was music that captured his heart. Tylarik is a multifaceted talent—performer, songwriter, and producer—whose lyrics are drawn from his own life experiences. Each song he writes is a reflection of personal moments, transformed into soulful melodies that resonate deeply with his listeners.
His musical journey began as a member of the Houston-based group Center of Attention (COA), and over time, he secured recording deals with Toval Weakly Record and Eartastic Records. In July 2019, his reach extended internationally when he signed with Spider Music in Athens, Greece.
Tylarik’s talent has not gone unnoticed. In 2019, he was honored as the Texas Southern Soul “Up and Coming Artist of the Year.” By 2022, he took full creative control of his artistry, launching his own independent label, Tylarik Records, LLC.
