Samantha “BossLady” Davis-Croft embodies creativity, resilience, and vision. A serial entrepreneur, certified master life and business coach, six-time author, actress, nurse, philanthropist, radio personality, and acclaimed Soul/R&B recording artist and composer, she has built a multifaceted career that bridges art, business, and community impact.
Born in Shelby, Mississippi, BossLady is the daughter of the late Blues legend Willie Lee “Rip” Butler, whose influence shaped her deep-rooted love for music. From her earliest days singing in her hometown church choir to performing alongside her father, she cultivated a passion that grew into both a sound and a mission uniquely her own.

Now based in Atlanta, Georgia, BossLady serves as co-founder of Elite Sound Recordings LLC and Sipp Starz Radio, platforms created to honor her father’s legacy while amplifying emerging voices in Soul, R&B, and Blues. Over her 18+ years in the industry, she has managed multiple artists—including her own daughters—and continues to mentor new talent, leaving an indelible mark on the next wave of performers.
Her singles, including “Come On With It” and “BossLady Anthem,” have become fan favorites, contributing to a catalog of 14 original tracks. Since their release in 2023, she has been captivating audiences nationwide through her Soul & Lovers Tour.
Beyond music, Davis-Croft is the founder and CEO of Women of Entrepreneurship LLC (W.O.E.), an empowerment network and business community designed to guide women of all backgrounds toward entrepreneurial success. Through coaching, mentorship, and global outreach, W.O.E. has impacted countless women with books, events, and resources that combine inspiration with practical tools.

Her leadership and artistry have earned her multiple accolades, including Promoter of the Year, Radio Personality of the Year, Nominated Artist of the Year, and Manager of the Year, reflecting her influence across multiple industries.
Her commitment to community runs equally deep. As the founder of Extended Hands for Building Better Communities, she leads initiatives to uplift underserved communities worldwide. She is also the visionary behind the Mississippi Music, Film & Entrepreneur Association LLC, which will host its inaugural celebration in June 2026, further cementing her role as a cultural ambassador for her home state.
Through music, mentorship, and movement-building, Samantha “BossLady” Davis-Croft remains on a mission to create timeless art, preserve Mississippi’s rich cultural heritage, and inspire the next generation of artists, entrepreneurs, and changemakers.
