At just 26 years old, Alexus McGill—widely known in the line dance community as Roulette—has already made a name for herself as a bold and creative force within the Southern Savage Line Dance Group. Under the leadership of CEO KT, this vibrant collective continues to leave its stamp on Southern Soul culture, and Roulette is helping lead the charge with originality, flair, and fierce dedication.
For Roulette, line dancing isn’t just a passion—it’s her identity. It’s how she connects, expresses, and uplifts. Her commitment to choreography reached a defining moment when she created the viral line dance to “Pop That C” by 2 Live Crew. Surprisingly, the spark for that now-famous routine came while watching the film Major Payne. The energy, the rhythm, the vibe—it all clicked, and from that moment, Roulette knew she had something special.

What many don’t realize is how much time and heart went into that one dance. It took five months to complete, with Roulette intentionally working solo—not out of pride, but out of purpose. She wanted to prove to herself that she could bring a vision to life from beginning to end, completely on her own terms. And she did just that.
Her choreographic journey didn’t stop there. Alongside her cousin Shyy, Roulette co-created the routines for “Grown Man” by King George featuring CharMeka and “Stepping Out” by King George featuring BadGir. She also collaborated with KT and Pastah on the lively dance for Mike Clark Jr’s “Pop That Thang”—a high-energy hit that reminded her of the beauty of teamwork.

KT and Roulette joined forces again to design the electrifying choreography for “Shake a Lil Sum” by 2 Live Crew, packing it with the same unapologetic Southern energy that defines their movement.
Roulette’s work is about more than catchy moves. It’s about creative ownership, artistic integrity, and community impact. As a proud member of the Southern Savage Line Dance Group, she continues to push herself—and inspire others—through every step she takes.
And with her momentum building, one thing’s for sure: Roulette is just getting started.
