At 38, Krystal “Krysee” Williams has become a powerhouse in the Jackson, Mississippi event scene—a full-service event planner and creative visionary whose journey has been anything but conventional.
A 2005 graduate of Terry High School, Krysee attributes her love for planning and structure to her time in JROTC, where discipline and leadership were instilled early. Although she didn’t pursue a military career, those formative years laid the foundation for the precision and excellence she brings to her events today.
Before stepping fully into the world of event planning, Krysee spent several years in the medical insurance field. While she enjoyed the work, something deeper called to her creative spirit. That call grew louder after meeting her own wedding planner, Melanie, who would later become both her best friend and the catalyst for her first event coordination opportunity. Krysee credits “Mel” for encouraging her to take the leap.
With time and dedication, Krysee built her brand from the ground up. Initially focused on weddings, she eventually discovered her true passion—adult-centered events. She used her 35th birthday celebration as a bold statement to show Jackson what she was capable of, hosting it at Brookwood Country Club where she worked as a property manager.

That same year, a collaboration with DJ Unpredictable 601 (Caramu Cunning) opened even more doors, connecting her with key figures in the city like Steven James, Anitra Bender, DJ FINESSE, and TP. These connections allowed her to elevate her work and expand her vision.
Soon, she returned to the drawing board to redefine her business. Krysee introduced event staffing services to her offerings, and her team has since staffed some of Jackson’s most notable events, including JSU Growncoming, Summer Breeze, We Came 2 Play Block Party, and the We Got Soul Tour. She’s also contributed to the highly acclaimed Dirty Napkins Supper Club, where her love for charcuterie displays was born.
Often described as a “Jill of All Trades,” Krysee has mastered balloon décor, bartending, and even floor wrap installations through a partnership with Create10Me Designs. She praises Memphis-based owner Ashley Jordan-Foster as a constant mentor, stating that their relationship is one of encouragement, never competition.
Among her favorite collaborations are the Mimosa Festival JXN (with De’sha Priest), Key to the City’s Kinfolk Kickback (led by Keoni Gray, Hyfr Esha & Px3), and the 2025 Super Bowl Watch Party produced by Steven James.
When asked about her nickname, “Quiet Storm,” Krysee shared that though she battles Lupus, she doesn’t lead with her diagnosis. “Lupus is a part of me—but it doesn’t define me. It’s not going anywhere, and neither am I.”
